Neil Hamblin, Owner/President of STRATLOG, has more than 30 years of experience in public and private sector supply chain management, operations, and strategic analysis. Since 2009, Mr. Hamblin has run STRATLOG, which has specialized applying private sector practices to improve the performance of government operations. Before this, Mr. Hamblin was Program Manager at LMI, bringing commercial supply-chain management practices to the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government agencies. Before coming to LMI, Mr. Hamblin worked at Mercer Management Consulting—a worldwide consulting firm serving senior executives of major Fortune 500 firms—on strategic and operational projects. Prior to working for Mercer, Mr. Hamblin was a Marine Corps logistics officer and amphibian officer, and served as an analyst at the Combat Development Command. Mr. Hamblin began his career with the Procter & Gamble Company, working first as a product technical engineer, and later as a computer modeling consultant in manufacturing plants.
